From 1 October 2006 the rate of the National Minimum Wage will increase as follows: a) Adult rate changes from £5.05 to £5.35 per hour, b) The rate for 18-21 year olds changes from £4.25 to £4.45 per hour and c) The rate for 16-17 year olds changes from £3.00 to £3.30.
The Regulations also amend the ‘per day’ value of the accommodation amount applicable where an employer provides living accommodation for a worker from £3.90 to £4.15. |
