Blacklisting to be Banned

The Government has announced that it plans to legislate to prevent the use of blacklists which deny workers employment due to their trade union membership or activities.  It is believed the Government will lay regulations before parliament in the autumn with a view to them being law before the next general election which is expected in 2010.
